"The Master Key" and "The Nine" are downright gloomy and hopeless. Coincidentally, the main plot of both stories is set in a house. The difference is that the young heroine in "Master Key" entered and was "actively" imprisoned to become a living mummy. Although she finally left the house, she was locked forever in an old dying man. The protagonists in the "Nine-person Confinement Room" were forcibly closed and died one after another in the mutual killing. The "survivors" finally found that their "survivors" were only carrying $5 million into the other. In the exact same house - from one airtight slaughterhouse into another.

If I were to generalize, I wonder if this conclusion would be acceptable: The "Master Key" tells us that curiosity and compassion may drag you into a desperate situation. You think you are quite subjective, but in fact, step by step Was led into a witch-like belief, and eventually lost his body and life. "Nine-person confinement room" tells us that when the external pressure is strong enough to be irresistible, the unity between people will collapse at the touch of a button, all resistance and struggle are futile, and the most ferocious side of human nature will inevitably burst out—— Whether it's "for" killing others, or "for" self-preservation.
