Chaplin's first love

In the nearly two and a half hours of the film, in addition to Chaplin's contribution to film and comedy creation, what I saw as a man, was infatuated with his first love. Chaplin met his 16-year-old first love when he was not famous, but his proposal was rejected. Later, he went to the United States to start a business and became famous. Because he had always been obsessed with his first love, he wanted to look for it when he returned to the United Kingdom, but learned about the other party. Already married, Chaplin readily accepted, but the truth is that his first love died of a flu at the age of 25, and Chaplin, who was told, collapsed silently. In the process of Chaplin's career, he experienced the first, second and third wives, as well as a rumored girlfriend. They are basically actors in his movies, but every relationship starts and ends quickly. It was almost a brushstroke, until he met an actress who looked like his first love, with whom he would spend the rest of his life.

I think Chaplin loves her first love, but misses more of who she was at that time. Life is like a drama, drama is like life!

Robert Downey Jr. has outstanding acting skills, like Chaplin possessed. He was also nominated for the best actor Oscar that year, but lost to Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman". He has done enough homework on the British accent and silent film acting skills, which fully demonstrates his superb body language (the following "Shuttle Between Yin and Yang" also has a "ghost possessed" body performance). However, makeup failed in his later years and many points were deducted.

In 1952, Chaplin was on a trip to Europe. As the ship crossed the Atlantic, the radio broadcast a statement from the U.S. government that Chaplin would be denied re-entry due to his political views. The advent of the 1960s and the Vietnam War changed Chaplin's fate in the United States again. In 1972, he accepted the Academy Award for Special Achievement to the loudest and longest standing ovation in Oscar history. #Life is like a play#

Chaplin quotes

  • Sydney Chaplin: Charlie, you got your pants on back-to-front.

  • Sydney Chaplin: [Charlie is playing the violin] Alright Sonny boy, tell your poor little brother today's problem.

Charlie Chaplin: Same as the day before, and the day before that and the day before that.

Sydney Chaplin: And the day before that, and the day before that.

Charlie Chaplin: Alright you're so creative, you work it out! The tramp buys a flower from the girl, in order for the plot to work, she has to think he's rich. That's all, except if you're aware of it, the flower girl is blind. I don't know how to make the girl mistake the tramp for a millionaire.
