Obviously this is a film that grabs your heart at the end. The Darney brothers are good at telling stories. The beginning reminds me of breaking waves, the middle reminds me of Truffaut, and at the end, you suddenly feel the huge core covered in this seemingly bland and gentle film, and you burst into tears with the two protagonists.

The director's narrative rhythm is well controlled. The tone changes little, but allows the viewer to have a gradual deepening process. The actor's performance is also in place. From the beginning to the end of the film, I gradually fell in love with this "loyalty" Bruno.

The film's realism makes it all the more sincere and powerful, and "The Child" isn't just that baby, they're all just kids.

#darneybrothersfilmretrospective# @MOMA. The child refers not only to the nine-day-old baby, but also to the male protagonist and the female protagonist (but a mother grows at the speed of light after experiencing a loss). The use of sound in this one is really consummate. ps: Those who should go out are those who chat and look at their mobile phones during the movie.

9.0 has a large number of scenes showing Bruno's playfulness, always prompting the reasons for the male protagonist's behavior. The criticism and sympathy directly displayed by the concept of "child" are brilliant. Bruno's transition from holding a stroller to holding an electric car also represented his transformation or growth, and he also took up his own responsibility. In the end, whether crying like a child was repentance or still a child.

The Child quotes

  • Bruno: Only fuckers work.

  • Bruno: Did you fart?

    Thomas: No.

[Bruno laughs, walks away smelling something in the air]

Thomas: Must be the school's food.
