The miraculous ending~ It really made my eyes sink into the sand when I saw it at the end. Every little girl is a princess, it seems that something is said. I think this movie should have a score of 9 or more. No matter how cruel and insensitive the world is, we should protect the innocence of our children. Innocence is a wonderful thing in this world. Although fantasy is sometimes unrealistic, it is important to give people hope. At the same time, the horror of war is revealed. If my father really died on the battlefield, then this film will end in a great tragedy. Sarah, a carefree little princess who originally lived in the noble Huo De, was forced to go to the front line by her father to fight. Sarah, who had not had a mother since childhood, was very worried. Her father had to send her to a private school in New York. The principal of the school was a philistine unmarried woman. When she saw the nobles coming to join the school, she graciously received them and arranged for Sarah to stay in the most luxurious room. Soon the lonely Sarah stayed in the room and watched her father leave the back outside the window. There are many rules in schools, and some of them are very abnormal. Sarah therefore repeatedly contradicted the principal unintentionally. But the headmaster was not embarrassed when she saw that she was a noble and could bring high checks. With Sarah's first-class storytelling ability, she was quickly welcomed by her classmates, and sometimes went to his room late at night to hear stories, but the principal felt that these were unrealistic fantasies. Frontline crash, father missing. The state randomly assigns a lawyer to the father's estate. The lawyer went to Sarah's school and informed the principal. The headmaster immediately stopped the birthday party for Sarah and threw her to live in the filthy attic. From then on, Sarah was reduced to being a low-class servant at the school. A grieving Sarah strengthened herself and went to the market to buy. A little boy saw that he thought it was a beggar and gave him some money. Sarah thought it was refunded, but the boy was dragged away by his mother. Sarah bought a piece of bread with the money. When she was about to eat it, she saw the little sister who was selling flowers and looked at the bread that she had coveted for a long time. The kind Sarah gave her the bread, and the flower girl gave her a splendid flower in gratitude. Sarah got acquainted by giving flowers to an Indian next door. The father on the other side of the frontline rescued a comrade who, coincidentally, was the son of the Indian head of the family. The comrade-in-arms could not be rescued, but accidentally sent back his father who lost his memory. With the lobbying of the Indians, the owner of the family temporarily stayed at home until he recovered. Later, the principal finally couldn't bear Sarah, and Sarah broke out in depression. The principal slandered him for stealing and called the police. The police came to arrest Sarah, and Sarah fled to the next door. In the thunderous night, I finally saw my father. The father does not recognize his daughter. Hateful principal tells police to lie about Sarah being an orphan. The police took Sarah, who was struggling and calling for her father, into the police car. The life-threatening father finally remembered Sarah. The two hug each other excitedly~

A Little Princess quotes

  • Miss Minchin: [after ordering the girls out and punishing Becky, to Sara] And you will perform all her chores in addition to your own without breakfast, lunch, OR dinner! It's time you learn, Sara Crewe, that real life has nothing to do with your little fantasy games. It's a cruel, nasty world out there, and it's our duty to make the best of it - not to indulge in ridiculous *dreams*, but to be productive and useful! Do you understand what I'm saying?

Sara Crewe: [short pause] Yes, ma'am.

    Miss Minchin: [short pause] Good.

    [she leaves]

Sara Crewe: But I don't believe in it.

[Miss Minchin stops, turns back to Sara, and goes awestruck]

Miss Minchin: Don't tell me you still fancy yourself a princess!

    [laughs]

Miss Minchin: Good God, child, look around you! Or better yet, look in the mirror!

    [after a long pause]

Sara Crewe: [confidently] I am a princess.

    Miss Minchin: [in disbelief] Oh!

Sara Crewe: All girls are! Even if they live in tiny old attics, even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young, they're still princesses - all of us! Didn't your father ever tell you that? Didn't he?

Miss Minchin: [furiously, in tears] If I find you up here with any of the girls again, I WILL THROW YOU OUT INTO THE STREET!

  • Sara Crewe: Papa? Maya told me that all girls are princesses.

Capt. Crewe: Maya... is a very wise woman.

    Sara Crewe: Then it's true?

Capt. Crewe: You can be anything you want to be, my love, as long as you believe.

Sara Crewe: What do you believe?

Capt. Crewe: I believe that you are... and always will be... my little princess.
