Without knowing any background information, I was really taken aback by the chaotic opening party scene. The restriction-breaking carnival shows a seemingly meaningless period of youth. But the strange thing is, a little bit of disgust, but you still feel a pity to give up. Who is the initiator of this vortex? Where is this countercurrent going? What is the meaning of spring break?
The same is a hard-pressed and depressed student at school. But we may not be able to identify and understand whether we must use this extreme way to vent our emotions. The irresponsibility of sex, the nonsense riding on the legal system, the film can give permission. You can't accept this bloody way to solve the problem, but when I saw three girls rob fast food restaurants to make up for the spring break, I was excited, and even laughed enviously. Everyone changed in a certain moment. Into the big and small devil that can't stop. Too dare to do it. The film is full of evil, impulsive, and depravity that you can't do, but I don't know if it is a crime.
But what attracts me is that the film montage has a lot of calm scenes, which is calm and balanced to a large extent. The fascinating seaside, the dreamy figure of a girl; and the mirror light wandering in the streets of the city. All flattened the manic glare.
The other is that the endless loop of monologues in the film becomes a spell, which can easily get you drunk and fascinated. "You are so pretty" "spring break, spring break for ever" repeats repeatedly and reiterates the pursuit and purpose of one's life, living in the blueprint of the city of one's own building. In fact, the audience knows that they are outside the world, and the more they prove, the more it only shows that reality runs counter to reality. The monologue does make a big contribution to the film.
Both girls quit because they couldn't bear it. They thought they could return to reality, but the ending was a little unexpected. The final curtain call of the two girls turned out to be a gun battle. Lost Little Red Riding Hood finally counterattacked and became a big bad wolf. If the goal of life is to die, then to succeed.
In the end, the youth that the film tells us is not a specific path or choice, but more of a virtual image that there is no routine like youth itself. A twistable and changeable shape. Before you have explained the last question, a new situation has already begun. There is no doing or not doing all behaviors, just a must-do excuse. Spring break is that excuse.
I want to use the lyrics I heard early today, youth is sometimes a journey to death, but also a journey of farewell, "i was gonna leave you then you kissed it"
