Be unique

A person should amount to something and not float around this earth like a ghost The factory, on the other hand, is a dystopia, cold and oppressive, hierarchical, and self-contained. Most of the staff are disgusting. Ironically, the factory is precisely based on human resources as an important product. Perhaps the director wants to use Foucault's way of metaphor that under the network of power, the factory is constantly producing domesticated flesh. Simon and Hannah are the only two employees who still retain their humanity. But Simon's humility and weakness made him bullied, and only Hannah's presence comforted him, even from afar. Such losers abound in reality. But what the director wants to explore is what the loss of identity means to a person. If everyone suddenly realizes that they are no longer unique individuals, then many people like Simon will lose their only incentive to live and change. Become a real Nobody. So even if Simon's other personality has all the so-called perfect qualities that he dreams of, Simon will be confused and say: But This is not me. Maybe, at some point, everyone will cry in their hearts: I wanna be unique

The styling is pretty cool. But this story is not as round as Enemy said.

It's really hard to understand, because the bizarreness of the title of the film has caused the audience to explore the suspense film mode, and it will become clear after more than half of the film. And exaggerated performance will infinitely magnify the dull rhythm. The ending is easy to think that there is still something to be said for affecting the quality of the movie during the viewing process.

    Simon: Excuse me?

Workers' Services Executive: You're no longer in the system.

Simon: Well, just put me back in the system.

Workers' Services Executive: I can't put you back in the system.

    Simon: Why?

Workers' Services Executive: Because you don't exist. I can't put someone who doesn't exist in the system.

Simon: But I used to be in the system.

Workers' Services Executive: Not according to the system. In fact, according to the system, you've never existed.

Simon: How reliable is the system?

Workers' Services Executive: Hey, it's completely reliable.

Simon: Yes, but I used to exist. I do exist! I'm standing in the this room, aren't I?

    Workers' Services Executive: And?

Simon: So how do I get back in the system?

Workers' Services Executive: You need a card.

Simon: Right. So can I please get a new card?

    Workers' Services Executive: No.

    Simon: Why?
