Very pleasantly surprised, it is not the western modern background of traditional white people. This setup is quite interesting. The story is not amazing, similar to gossip girl setting up a bystander. In the middle part, I guessed Lady Wistledown's true identity, but I was shaken in the latter part. I didn't expect that the final reveal was a little reversed. The characters are dazzling, the story is biased towards small words but the rhythm is smooth and brisk, and the costumes are exquisite. The last star added is that it is always men who force women to have children. This drama may not show it very strongly, but I see that it is women who "force" men to submit. It can still be seen in the play that some women are struggling to find their own way of survival or to retain themselves from the constraints of the society at that time (the most pleasant is to see Siena dump Anthony! The most sad thing is that Mrs Featheringtons finally faced her husband's empty bed and Marina's. dialogue), the male gaze is less. At the beginning, it was sarcastic with a tone similar to Jane Austen, but unfortunately, the sarcasm was gone later, so I deducted one star. Anyone who wants to pass the time happily, watch handsome guys and beauties, and action scenes (ahem, cross it out) can check it out.
