After watching Kuila, I revisited the 19-year "Aladdin" and saw that Disney has made progress in shaping female characters. Princess Jasmine is just resisting in a stereotyped manner, while Kuira is full of personality, has a kind side, and is unscrupulous when she turns evil.
This kind of "bad woman" used to only serve as a foil to the evil in Disney movies, to set off the cute, kind and harmless heroine, but now she will act as the real heroine, unleashing the ambition, talent and evil power of women.
Disney has long focused on creating dreams for girls. Girls of the past wanted to sit back and relax as princesses with tons of pretty dresses and a domineering husband. Today's girls dream of taking power, fulfilling their ambitions, walking the world unfettered, and being a charming villain.
So Disney is on the right track, please continue to create a new era of girl dreams that girls are happy to see and are practicing in their own lives.
This kind of movie where the protagonists are all women, and they are not good people, let’s make another 10,000 movies.
