we need the JEDI

The last line of the film, the voice-over of EWAN MC GREGOR passing through the wall-
"Now, more than ever, we need the JEDI"

JEDI is not just superpowers, it is the spirit of hippies, it is idealistic feelings.

JEDI, who lives in our hearts, has been covered, buried, waned, gone, and disappeared one day in real life. As a result, only ordinary people are left in the world, living a "normal" life. Not only did they give up the courage to become JEDI, but even the nostalgia for them no longer flashed.

But, in fact, we all have, or are, or may have the ability to walk through walls and freely enter and exit our lives. But we are blind, we are deaf, our hands are weak, we can't see, hear, and grasp, the existence of JEDI in our heart.

boston sings in the ending song:

so many people have come and gone
their faces fade as the years go by
yet i still recall as i wander on
as clear as the sun in summer sky

It's more unreliable than unreliable. The joke is very crazy. Is it the Don Quixote of this era?

Crazy in its shape, but an orthodox anti-war film inside.

The Men Who Stare at Goats quotes

  • Lyn Cassady: I'm very sorry for running you over, sir.

Mahmud Daash: It was an accident.

Lyn Cassady: And I apologize for that security detachment. I don't want you to think that all Americans are like that.

Mahmud Daash: I apologize for the kidnappers.

Lyn Cassady: Not your fault, sir. I mean, we've kidnappers in America and... There's always... bad apples.

  • Bob Wilton: We've been sitting here for half an hour. How's that "instant?"
