A movie that was opened at random, only to find out that it was directed by Edwardswick after watching it. The film is a bit slow and requires a little patience.
In the face of war, liberation and death, blacks are no different from whites. White heads can win the respect of black soldiers, and black soldiers can be more brave than whites. Everyone is equal in duty, compassion, empathy and honor.
The soundtrack sounds like Horner's, and at the end it really is! The combination of the same director and soundtrack, the music in this part is not as outstanding as the four seasons, maybe this is the main theme movie after all. It can be felt that the soundtrack of the film five years later is still influenced by the film of 1989, or it is the continuation of Horner's style. Probably most people don't like this slow-paced classical and epic-style film and soundtrack. After all, there are not so exciting "contemporary" movies and soundtracks, but it is indeed in my heart.
