Opposition Protector

In fact, I think the role of Protector is a group of people who express their allegiance to pedantic old-fashioned people. Can you say that he is not good? No, why? He just has difficulty understanding the people or things in front of him. If you put ancient people into modern times, he will not understand high-rise buildings. He feels kind to me because he gives the little protagonist's father a chance again and again. Isn't this a sign of soft-heartedness? If you say that it burns the forest and kills wolves, if you are the leader of a country, don't you have to take the people's safety and life as the standard for the first time? At the beginning, it was also said that there would be no clearing of forests and no place to farm. Can you say burning the forest is right? can not. Can you say they are right to not clear the forest? also can not. Therefore, the things you see from different perspectives are different. This is how the world is. There is no right or wrong in many things. He is just such a person, with great power comes great responsibility. In the end, the wolf bit him, but the armor did not hurt him. To be honest, there was still a chance to fight to the death, but he gave up and chose to fall. The rules of the world are changing. If something is never changed, it is destined to be eliminated. Since you don't want to change, instead of fighting against the new rules, it's better to quit the stage yourself.

#LFF2020# Very happy to watch. An animation that blends a story similar to Irish folklore into a modern context. The themes that the film wants to discuss are very diverse. The first is the naturalistic discussion in this very "Avatar" story (not just environmental protection, because there are a lot of forest dramas and the various emotions of the characters). Another theme-the critique of patriarchy is parsed into different aspects: the power of England ruling Ireland; the oppression of women by society; and the transformation of human/wolf identity (worth more discussion). The interaction between the two little girls in the forest in the movie is reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki, and the painting style of wolves/gods is reminiscent of "Nine-Colored Deer" and "Baolian Lantern", but in fact the style of painting is still very western ( The light and shadow on the wall are a bit expressionistic), and the split-screen design is also very similar to the restoration of a written comic (I like the setting of the map and the close-up of the illustration setting, which has a pop-up book and fake 3D feel) . The ending is very complete and strong, but it is okay to think that it is for children.
