A female infighting

Phyllis Schlafly, as a woman who wanted to hold power in the Ministry of Defense, actually rose to power by opposing gender equality. The methods of these American men are too bad. It's like Japan supports a group of pro-Japanese people to fight the anti-Japanese people and watch you fight. I've been wondering if the women who support the ERA can go to Phyllis and get to know her real desires, is there another way to help her take power in the Department of Defense? And thus instigating her to support the ERA? However, I think all the female leaders who support the ERA must be full of anger at Phyllis, and therefore probably don't want to help her achieve her wish. But women need unity! Unity is powerful.

Didn't Phyllis Schlafly realize that her own plight was the plight of all women? Does she care? Or does she identify with patriarchy and see herself as a special case of patriarchy? Yes, she doesn't care about women's rights or not, what she wants is the power of the Ministry of Defense. She's not an individualist who doesn't care about collective interests and only cares about individual interests. I feel that Phyllis is a woman who identifies with patriarchal culture and wants to be a man. She has not thought about the third way of being a powerful woman. Writing this, I'm really a little angry. To oppose the group I belong to is to oppose myself. This kind of thing really happens time and time again. There are always smart people who want to profit by betraying their race, country, gender group.

This reminds me again of some artists who seek fame by blackening their homeland. Girls help girls, we can promote he for she, but we can never rely on he for she!!

The scene in this show so far (episode 3) that gives me the most goosebumps is when the pro-ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) women (mostly young unmarried women) team and the anti-ERA housewives team are on opposite stairs. They turned their heads and stared at each other, and at that moment they had to think about what split them, who shared a common destiny, to such a degree. But on second thought, what does it matter, as long as they all realize that women need to stand up and speak out for their own interests, realize the necessity of women's participation in politics, realize the importance of power, even if it is a staircase in different directions , as long as you go up, you will reach the same place at the end. The fight is not about Equality. It's about Power
