The movie cost a lot of money to build many equal-scale scenes that are impeccable today and can be called works of art. Of course, it is precisely because of the film's practice of blindly pursuing visual effects regardless of cost, time and effort, that Fox almost fell into a desperate situation of being acquired because of the fiasco of this movie giant. It spends a lot of time on the narrative of the characters' emotions, and does not effectively integrate the historical background with the story itself. And the high-standard production scale obviously does not match the plot of the film. Her life is full of helplessness and compromise under patriarchal politics, but we can't deny that she also has the courage and strength to actively change her own situation. Her story is far more than just as simple as the moving one presented in the movie.
