"The Soloist": The Clothes of Music Biography, Real Humanistic Care

The way of expression is relatively special. There are often pictures that use images to express people's inner feelings, and there are often two main characters talking at the same time, but the paragraphs that are not yet understood can easily confuse the audience, so don't take what the two main actors said when watching a movie. What does each sentence mean, and looking at the narrative of this movie from a higher perspective will have a different view. "Solo" + "Jamie Foxx" + "Schizophrenia" is easily reminiscent of "Music Biopic" + "Soul Singer" + "Forrest Gump". But after watching the movie, you will realize that you are wrong. This film is dressed as a music biopic, talking about the universal humanistic care. Good movie, but not easy to be accepted by the public!

The Soloist quotes

  • Graham Claydon: Nothing pains God more than when we squander his blessings. You owe it to Him to care for this...

Nathaniel Ayers: I don't owe God. Mr. Steve Lopez is my god.

    Steve Lopez: What?

Nathaniel Ayers: Star Writer for Los Angeles. Higher power flying around with wings like an angel.

  • Steve Lopez: I don't want him to love me.

David Carter: Well it looks like you might have to get over that.

Steve Lopez: It's a bad idea. "I love you Steve," turns into, "You failed me, Steve," turns into very bad things. That's my limited experience. I don't want to be on the other side of that with him. Would you? He doesn't know if I'm a ballerina, if I'm God, if I'm an airline pilot. He has no idea what he's saying.
