Say nothing

What got me in the mood for the film was that Verona didn't get married for the same reasons I did, and Burt would be very understanding of her.

When two people are together, barrier-free communication is the most important thing. Living in a remote place and not having a circle of friends seem to be no problem. "All You Need Is Love." But love doesn't necessarily last long, long-term doesn't necessarily have hope, hope doesn't necessarily cherish, and cherishing doesn't necessarily lead to love again. Go home, at least there's a home waiting for us even if we stumble a bit. Don't expect too much. If you like children, don't expect a lot from them. As long as two people trust each other and promise each other, is marriage important?

John Krasinski's appearance here is really sexy. And I have to admire Kate Winslet's husband's various views on life and family. No wonder Kate can always express his true thoughts so recklessly: "Don't think about PS me!" You must marry someone who understands you.

Do you promise everything? I do.

Away We Go quotes

  • Lily: Burt, you worked with a lesbian, didn't you?

Burt Farlander: Oh! Yes. Yes, I did.

    Lily: I can't hear you!

Burt Farlander: I just don't think we should be talking about it right in front of the children.

Lily: Oh, please. Burt, It's just white noise to them. Listen, watch this. Taylor? Taylor? Taylor? Taylor? Taylor? Taylor? Taylor?

[no answer from his son, seated nearby]

Lily: I can keep going on and on. They don't hear us. Seriously. So tell me about the dyke.

  • Grace: So, you want to get a drink here or go out? Do you need to eat?

Burt Farlander: Oh, we don't want to go out there. Not right now. No, it's like an oven.

    Grace: Yeah, it's pretty hot.

Burt Farlander: No, no, I mean literally, like an oven. Like if you were in an oven, that's what it would be like. It's almost like God's trying to melt us all down and make something better.

Grace: Wow, Burt, that's so stoney.

Burt Farlander: Well, it's just the Bible.
