It is also the type of addiction that will kill you.

Last night, I basically stayed at home for one night. When I was bored, I copied this movie from my eldest brother. The overall feeling is similar to what Jason Statham's version of Death Speeder is. The society has developed extremely rapidly, and the "material and cultural needs" of human beings have become more and more bizarre. In the end, there is an organization that directly tramples on the human rights respected by the American people and meets the needs of others.
In Death Ride, it's some people who are in prison, manipulated by a warden to meet the needs of some people outside the prison. In the live game, these people seem to be voluntary and go through a rigorous process; it seems to give this kind of activity a kind of legitimacy. But in a live-action game, these people are also more controlled than death runners. In the death race, some prisoners have no freedom, but they can get freedom by participating in the death race. During this process, the personalities of these people are generally free. Real-life games, on the other hand, are more direct and powerful, injecting something into the human brain so that people are controlled like characters in the game.
People say that if you are addicted to watching Death Race, you will die; I feel that watching a live-action game is also addicting and you will die, watching some scenes. Check out some great gunfights and some relatively peaceful Sims-like gameplay. Other than that, nothing in the positive sense.
However, if the filmmakers really have any deeper thinking, I think it is their guess about the future society. In the future society, science and technology are highly developed, and as a human being, we can no longer feel anything that can stimulate our interest, so we try to break through the morality to see the world beyond the moral barrier.
Similar movies are:
Escape from the Clone Island: An organization has been genetically bred to prepare various organs for celebrities in society; unfortunately, these genetically bred people finally somehow start to awaken their sense of self, so the organization is unlucky .
Truman's world: To a certain extent, too, in the end, Truman's self-consciousness awakened and escaped from the studio.
There is another movie, forgot the name.

The role of Ken Castle ruined the film, otherwise it would be very fast and flashy fun. I used Amber Valetta as Robin Wright throughout the film and wondered how she became younger.

There should be a sequel. Gerard~~~~~Michael~~~~ Gerard should work with Jason Staham on one, gamer reminds me of death race. I like this kind of futuristic theme, and the human body is flying and incomplete~~~ The cut of the lens is very cool.

Gamer quotes

  • Ken Castle: [seeing Hackman] Look at it. The new face of Slayers. Pure, crystalized horror. Two stories high and bathed in bloody red. He is what they want.

    Geek Leader: They love Kable.

Ken Castle: They do now, but when they watch their hero die right in front of their eyeballs so sharp and vivid it feels like you could reach out and touch the wet flesh, they're going to change their point of view. They'll be seduced by the power of violence; the dominance. It's human nature.

Geek Leader: Kable's made it through 28 battles. Every player in the game has tried to take him out.

Ken Castle: Yeah, Kable's the perfect soldier. He's a tactical killing computer. His only vulnerability is the nanex itself; the *ping*, the delay between Simon's commands and Kable's ability to execute.

Geek Leader: So why should this one be any different? Who controls him?

Ken Castle: [long pause] No one.

  • Upgrade Guard: Who aims?

    Kable: What?

Upgrade Guard: Who aims? The player or the slayer?

Kable: I'm the hand. Someone, somewhere else is the eye.

Upgrade Guard: That's tripped out, man.

Kable: Sometimes, they take over completely. Move you around like a robot. But that don't work so good.

    Upgrade Guard: Why not?

    Kable: The delay.

Upgrade Guard: Right, the "ping," they talk about that. The time it takes for the Slayer to respond to the player's commands.

Kable: Whatever they call it, when you're in the game, a slice of a second is the difference between living and dying. When that trigger pulls... it's just me.
