two old actors

There are a lot of movies about Americans traveling to Europe, but they are the most compatible with the British atmosphere. After all, they have historical origins!
The story of this film is very simple. An old American man with a bad career and a failed marriage goes to the UK to attend his daughter's wedding. He meets a single older British woman who is not good-looking and sociable. The two get together in a short time. It's really not very attractive, and it feels quite old-fashioned. With "Love in the Sunset Afterglow" in front of the jewels, it seems that it is difficult to surpass. But it doesn't matter if you call it the older version of Love At Sunset, it's still worth watching because it's played by Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. Acting up and down plots can't test the true skills of the actors, only this kind of silent play that sneaks into the night and moistens things with the wind can show the excellence of the old drama. The two of them work together perfectly, giving the film a refreshing beauty.

Harvey Shine: Why? Are you afraid I'm going to embarrass you again?

Jean: No, I'm - I'm afraid you're gonna embarrass yourself, Harvey. We're here for Susan. This is her weekend. It's Scott and Susan's weekend.

Harvey Shine: [he laughs] You're good. You're still good. I mean you've always known how to make me feel like a piece of shit in 30 seconds.

Jean: Well, you gave me a lot of practice.
