Don't see it as Pride and Prejudice

Basically, didn't want to let go of anything too P&P, so read it.
In fact, such a subject is very difficult, and I admire the courage of the BBC. But anyway, it's just a miniseries.
My own favourite version of P&P is the BBC '95 miniseries version.
Each character attaches great importance to the original, but more flesh and blood than the original. I love the details of MR.DARCY's selection of clothes to meet Elizabeth.
But this is not P&P after all. In such a re-written script, if everything is the same as the original, is it necessary to shoot?
I think the best thing about it is that it surprises the audience with unexpected surprises in something very familiar.
Although I think Mrs.Bennet's performance is not enough tension, and Lydia is too quiet, she can be a little more exaggerated.
But overall, this drama really satisfies the fantasy of a P&P fan like me, and it also has a good sense of freshness. Although it would be better if there were more interactions between the two protagonists.
As far as acting is concerned, the 1995 version of Mr. Darcy is really good, this one is inferior.

It turns out that people all over the world like YY as much. Who has not been fascinated by Darcy who likes PP? With such an opportunity, who could let it go? PS: What I'm wondering is, as far as I know, the ancient Europeans were actually very open. Was the so-called end really that important?

    1. Change my favorite story.. I'm very angry = =. Really. 2. The heroine is really ugly... darcy is still the most handsome.... 3. It's very happy~~ The funniest is "Amanda said "I'm drawn to other women", Bingley's downed face alone is worth watching this movie."

Lost in Austen quotes

  • Amanda Price: I need to use the telephone. I need to call my boyfriend.

    Elizabeth Bennet: Of course.

    [hands Amanda a mobile phone]

Amanda Price: Elizabeth Bennet is lending me her mobile...

  • Amanda Price: The rest of us are gonna say goodbye nicely and watch you step through all that plumbing into fictional Georgian England and that'll be it. And then we'll all spend the rest of our lives in therapy. It's going to be fine.
