Amanda, an ardent Jane Austen fan, lives in present day London with her boyfriend Michael, until she finds she's swapped places with Austen's fictional creation Elizabeth Bennett
ITV's 4-episode mini-series Lost In Austen made a nasty " Pride & Prejudice " joke. The heroine Amanda is a fan of Jane, who, despite being a stylish modern girl, is still fascinated by the sincere and romantic love in the novel. She lives with her boyfriend in London. After an argument, Amanda is alone in her room, depressed, and suddenly finds a girl dressed in 18th century classic dress calling herself Elizabeth Bennet. More than 200 years ago, and broke into the life of the Lizzie family, of course, also met Mr Darcy. Soon, Amanda integrated herself into this already familiar story, but she didn't know how her involvement would change this classic story. More importantly, how should Elizabeth, who is still trapped in the future world, face the strange things. Whether to change history or try to fix everything, Amanda will find a way to solve this big trouble.

  • Elizabeth Bennet: The door does not oblige.

Amanda Price: It bloody well does oblige! This is Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet coming through for God's sake!
