We may be like Kabir's wedding joy, hasty, or Imraan's casual, ordinary, or Arjun's career/money first, restrained, no matter who we are, they have our shadows in them. If we make a game like the no hesitation association game in the movie, we will find more aspects of ourselves. We haven't found ourselves yet, because our busy and almost numb life squeezes the time and space to think and ask ourselves. Most of us are people who live in boxes and have never enjoyed the freedom and happiness of looking up under the stars.
After watching a movie, let us go through the constant conflicts of marriage, love, friendship, career, money, fear, and freedom with three friends, constantly interpreting the predicaments in life to you, and showing you constantly. The good in life, everyone is tempted to gradually slide towards living the life they want.
But, calm down and think about it, if we are Arjun, who dares to say that he can give up his career as a financial broker and follow his beloved girl? Who can dare to give up the wealthy daughter who has a fortune of tens of billions and also loves him deeply like Kabir? Who can face the biological father who abandoned him and never met like Imraan, and dare to disclose the most private story diary to everyone? I think only a few people do it, so they are the really brave and happy people. Most people are struggling between not being able to change and looking forward to the future. The pressure of reality and the fear in their hearts keep most people who are not strong in the "box" all the time.
The reason why people suffer is because they clearly know what is good, but they don't have the courage to fight for it. They suffer between hesitation and yearning.
We can't live in complete release, so we wander between enjoyment and pain. As long as we can achieve a certain balance, who can say that this is not a kind of happiness?
Finally, I took a few sentences from the movie that inspired me and shared them with you.
Imran: A man should try, success or failure is in his hands.
Laila: Have you ever cried because of the money? Do you really feel happy when you are successful in life? You still feel like something is missing today, what is that? Spend some time on the things that bring you real joy.
Arjun: I'll retire at forty, and then...
Laila: Omg! How do you know if you can live to that time? Seize the day, my friend. First, live today to the fullest, and then think about turning 40.
Laila: Only people who have never slept under the stars would say something so stupid.
Arjun: I feel like I used to live in a box all the time.
Laila: The only time a man should stay in a box is when he dies.
