relatively bland

Another Nicolas Cage movie, which should be said to be a bit bland.
First, the plot is bland. Action movies are generally in which girlfriends, wives, and children are tied up, and then the protagonist rescues them. This is a typical movie about a father saving his daughter. The plot of the movie can almost be guessed to the end.
Second, the fight scenes are bland. This movie lacks Nicolas Cage's usual hot fight scenes, and it's a bit uncomfortable to watch. To really compare, "Hurricane Rescue 1" is much better than this one.
Anyway, I still like Nicolas Cage very much, and I will still watch his movies. However, this movie is really not recommended to go to the cinema.

It's not a bad movie after all.

So-so, it's not bad in Cage's many bad movies, and it has the characteristics of the 80s police and gangster movies. The decent and deadly villain who died N times, the super horror of removing the handcuffs, and then the noisy carnival background noise after answering the phone could not be heard, really worrying about the villain's IQ. The sheriff in Danny Houston's role this time looks like his father.
