Alien monsters almost ruin a good movie

The style of the pseudo-documentary is very good. All the shots after the launch are assumed to be from the various cameras that come with the spacecraft. The settings are rigorous and praised;

the editing of flashbacks and interludes is also good, and a trace of unease always reminds the audience that they will face the journey. Dangerous, the statement of the female astronaut made me always think she was the only survivor, not bad misleading, hehe;

as a sci-fi movie, the scene is not grand enough, well, small investment, we put up with it;

but why must there be monsters in aliens? ? I mean, COME ON, we're not even in that ecosystem at all, why do these alien monsters just like takeout when they see humans, and eat without asking?

Isn't the human effort to search for extraterrestrial life itself exciting enough? Are astronauts supporting each other and even self-sacrifice in the face of difficulties and dangers enough? Isn't it shocking enough to finally find traces of life (even if it's just single-celled algae) on a planet thousands of miles away from home?

It's a pity to have to come up with such an old-fashioned plot of an alien monster. The so-called mouse shit ruins a pot of porridge.

    The concept is good, Vlog's performance is also very reasonable, and several scenes are not lacking in impact, but the overall execution can be better.

    Hard sci-fi. Although the editing makes people a little uncomfortable, but when I look back on the whole film, I still feel a lot of taste.

Europa Report quotes

  • James Corrigan: [aiming his camera out the window] It's kind of ironic really. So little space in here, and so much space out there.

  • Dr. Samantha Unger: As the ship passed the moon, it had already gone farther than any human being had ever gone before. Think about that. Across all of human history, that moment was the farthest anyone had ever gone. But they still had millions upon millions of miles to go. Our craft was heading for a moon of Jupiter known as Europa.
