Tempo's problem

This is Tianbao's problem to strive for strength in everything, but from another perspective, it is also aggressive. In the current era, Tianbao may not be able to open up a world.
In fact, everyone has overlooked a very important point. Without Tianbao's enthusiasm for Shaolin hosting, Junbao's silly personality would not have been possible to practice martial arts alone. Therefore, we can also say that Tianbao is actually the leader of Junbao. And Junbao is simply resigned, because friendship has always followed Tianbao.
At the beginning of the movie, it was Tianbao's idea to beat people with sacks, Tianbao's idea was to learn martial arts, Tianbao started playing sticks in Luohantang later, and Tianbao started to discuss the next plate when Zamabu was eating. We can imagine that the two brothers who initiated all the exercises were actually Tianbao.
It's like in a university dormitory, some people want to go to graduate school, some people want to go abroad, and some people want to find a job. These people know what they want, so they work five to nine, three to one line. There are also people who are driven by the aura of these people, so they follow suit. These people don't really want that result, but follow the steps out of a "fun, not bad, try it out" mentality.
This is Junbao's state. He followed Tianbao to practice a good martial arts, but he did not have much enthusiasm for entering the Arhat Hall and being the host. He simply enjoyed the process of practicing with Tianbao. In this sense, if Junbao hadn't had Tianbao by his side, it would have been impossible for him to develop a good martial arts. Without this good martial arts, it would be even more impossible for him to realize Tai Chi in the future.
Speaking of Tianbao, it is precisely because of his enthusiasm for the so-called success that the Luohantang competition made him intolerable. This is because he gave more than anyone else. Although it seems that Junbao has also paid a lot, it must be pointed out that Tianbao is the initiator and leader, and he has to bear more pressure and criticism than Junbao, because everything is his idea. It was precisely because he paid so much, but did not get what he deserved, that he was so angry that he did not hesitate to break with Shaolin. All the changes that followed were from this. "Since I'm honest and can't stand out from the crowd, that's good, I'll do whatever it takes from now on."
I don't know why I inexplicably thought of Julien Sohail from "Red and Black", a story of extremely talented, talented, and humble origins, who tried to change his fate through various means and ultimately failed completely. Tianbao is actually very similar to him. He is smart, willing to endure hardships, and looks good. He just wants to make a career through his own efforts. Not only is this motive not wrong, but it is what people now respect. But in the end, his path didn't work out.
In Shaolin, there are elders and children, and in the military camp, there is a family background. In fact, even if Junbao does not appear in the end, he will still not get along well in the court. Because he is too hasty, eager to be promoted, eager to perform, and eager to make meritorious deeds. But since he can work hard for more than 20 years for the dream of being a host, he is supposed to be a very patient and strong-willed person. To be so edgy all of a sudden is fundamentally an overkill. "Since there is no way out if you take it slow, then it will be faster, more ruthless, and more poisonous." It was this urgency that made him lose the balance of playing and being human. But this kind of urgency is not so much a need for quick success, but a way for him to get rid of the shadow of the first 20 years in order to rebuild his self-confidence.
In the early years, some people jumped off the building because they couldn't get into the university, some people cut their wrists because they couldn't guarantee research, and some people set themselves on fire because they were laid off. When a person believes wholeheartedly in a system, a set of rules, and strives to fight within the rules, you are ruthlessly suppressed by breaking the rules. If it is ordinary people, they will accept their fate, but there are also people who are born with disobedience. For example, Bai Baoshan, because he could not get a Beijing household registration, embarked on the road of no return to murder. Therefore, a person like Tianbao should have been a hero. But the rules never seem to like the heroic. And more importantly, when he was the most confused and troubled in his life, no wise man showed him the way. In fact, with his aptitude and talent, it is only a matter of time before he gets ahead. Why be so anxious?
Eager to express himself, Eunuch Liu unknowingly showed him there, so he had to betray his brother to gain Eunuch Liu's appreciation. It's really a mistake, step by step. In fact, think about it carefully, is it really beneficial to him to get rid of the chaos of the party? The birds are exhausted, and the good bows are hidden. The cunning rabbit dies, the running dog cooks. There is really no chaos in the party, and there is still room for him to survive? A person who has no official intelligence but insists on being an official, Tianbao's performance is actually quite stupid. He thought that what he did to professors and students at Shaolin Academy could be played in officialdom?
From this point of view, Tianbao is also a poor man, and he did not understand how the rules work until he died. In fact, in the final battle, he didn't have to kill Eunuch Liu at all. At that time, he was fully capable of saving Eunuch Liu. What really irritated him was Junbao's disapproval of him. As for the last thing, he couldn't accept the fact that Junbao surpassed him in martial arts. A self-confident and mildly narcissistic person finally ruined his self-confidence and narcissism.
But anyway, Tianbao is the leader of Junbao. His utilitarian heart made Jun Bao practice a good martial arts, and his cruel heart made Jun Bao enlightened. In the end, Junbao created Wudang, which was not inferior to Shaolin, and became the head of the company himself. This coincides with Tianbao's dream of being a Shaolin host back then. Therefore, Tianbao has achieved Junbao, and Junbao has also achieved Tianbao. These two people seem to be two people, but they are actually different states of one person at different times.
Innocent and naive in childhood, brave and hard work in childhood, encountering obstacles in youth, chaos in middle age. Junbao did not have the experience of childhood and youth, because these made Tianbao walk for him. Therefore, although Jun Bao was the one who survived in the end, he was actually a fusion of the two. I think when Jun Bao finally became enlightened, he probably already understood that whether Tian Bao is alive or dead in the future, they are still good friends and good brothers. He will carry Tian Bao's dream and realize it in his own way.
Life is still long, never think that you see everything and be self-righteous. Tempo's problem all along was being overconfident, thinking he was better than others. In fact, there is not that much difference between people in this world. It is good to be exceptionally talented in a certain way, but there is nothing to be complacent or self-righteous. Too many people have the illusion that they are better than others in all aspects because they are superior to others at a certain point. This illusion will torture people to death for many years, until you give up this sense of superiority.

  • Junbao: Enough! Stop living in your past! What do you think you're doing here? Stop shoving me away! The past is what makes up who we are. Don't let it become your burden.
