The movie I watched the day after reading the original. In terms of content, the film is clearly not deep enough to reflect Heathcliff's paranoid love for Casey. When I read the novel, I didn't find it very shocking. I just think why do people have to live like this? Not very understanding of Heathcliff. After watching the movie, I totally understand and like this guy. Against that backdrop, Heathcliff could only like one person, and that was Casey. In the movie, Casey didn't show a very headstrong look. The film only presents a portion of the original book, and only a generation ago, and Heathcliff's paranoia is more or less concealed.
Also, I don't really know how to shoot. But the movie is always accompanied by the howling wind, and the plot scenes in it are very natural.
In the end, I think the happiest person in there is Casey, and of course the failure is also Casey. Both of them love her so much and grew up carefree since childhood. But in the end she couldn't be with Heathcliff. . . I think it's self-inflicted. Hmm, sorry for Heathcliff.
