In Tehran, journalist Farazmand went to report on the arrest of young José Sabzian for fraud. It turned out that the unemployed painter Sabzian was a movie fan. He claimed to be the famous director Muhsin Makmalbaf, and he won the trust of the rich Ahan Kahe family and borrowed money from them to make the film. After the incident, Sabzion was arrested. Director Abbas Kiarostami launched a documentary-like follow-up investigation on the case. He interviewed the police, the family of Ahan Kah, and Sabzian himself. He regretted the feelings of the Hankach family, but said he did it because of his love for art, and if he had the money, he would really make his own film. And, posing as director Marc Malbaf gave him confidence. In the end, the plaintiff Ahankah's family withdrew the lawsuit, and Sabzion also met the real Mark Malbaf, who took the young man on a small motorcycle to revisit Ahanka...

    I would have liked to say that the lines in this film moved me, but relying too much on them only detracts from the masterpiece. But I didn't expect this to be a documentary, so everything that seemed intentional instantly became the best part of the film.
