The core of the movie is to tell a good story. This movie does it.

It's a good story, and the film is a triple story structure. All stories are linked by a key person. Indeed a good movie. There are many golden sentences in it. For example, it is easy for people to make choices in life, but difficult to bear the consequences of their choices. The old man's story has twists and turns. A beautiful encounter, a beautiful love, a family, a baby. Baby's death. Write a touching novel. The loss of the novel. The relationship between the husband and wife could not be calmed down, and from then on, the corners and the ends of the earth were different. Another unexpected encounter on the train, seeing each other well, and letting everything go. The author's new book launch is actually his own story. The author's wife is also separated from him, and there is no way to return to the past. The three story lines are actually two stories. There is a misunderstanding between the two, and life is so wonderful. Both the old man and the author carry a great psychological burden, and this burden accompanies them throughout their lives. As an aside, the hero and heroine in the old stories are beautiful

The stories of the characters in the three time and space have a clear sense of hierarchy. Brian, the director and screenwriter, handles them well, but it is difficult for the whole film to resonate emotionally, and it is a pity that many places are sloppy. Whether it’s the regret of missing out or the heavy heart of continuing to live with mistakes, maybe anyone will have such a time, even if it traps thoughts and actions, it is understandable that we still have to look up and prepare for the future.

The structure of the plot is very full and not bad. It seems to be calm, but it is thought-provoking. It is said that the 2009 "Love Lila, Lila" is exactly the same as its plot, but unfortunately I can't find it online.

  • The Old Man: He should've been somebody everyone knows.

Rory Jansen: Yeah... but what happened?

    The Old Man: Life.
