The stills of "Deeper Than the Sea" is the trailer for Hirokazu Kore-eda's latest work "Deeper than the Sea". The middle-aged waste wood uncle played by Hiro Abe, and the mother who warmly guards the waste wood son played by Shu Xilin, made people cry with sympathy. In 2015, director Hirokazu Kore-eda won numerous awards for "Haijie Diary", and he joined hands with his old partners Hiro Abe and Shirin Koji. "Deeper than the Sea" centers on a middle-aged uncle who can't pursue his dreams, his wife and son are separated, and a mother who embraces his son who is a waste. It depicts a story that the secular world will always be different from the dream. In addition to Abe Hiroyuki and Noki Shirin, Maki Yoko, Kobayashi Satomi, Lilly Frank and other luxurious lineups also appeared in the film. Along with the trailer, there is also the theme song of the film sung by Hanaregumi. It was Director Hirokazu Kore-eda who said that the moment he heard this song, his body couldn't restrain his trembling. "The song contains the past and future of the protagonist Tara, which is not explained in the movie."

"As long as the film director digs, every trivial thing will become a gold mine." Italian director Zivatini said this many years ago, and he did the same. Japan is Hirokazu Koreeda's new film "Deeper than the Sea" this year is just such a specimen: what a glorious and rich gold has been unearthed once a month when a divorced father meets his child! Our filmmakers lack such skills and feelings.

Why can't people always cherish the love in front of them and dream those false and unrealized dreams, how can they be happy? Happiness is something that cannot be obtained without sacrifice. Listening to Teresa Teng's "Premonition of Parting", who has a deeper emotion than the sea? It's because you don't have to work harder to live. Life is so simple. It's Hirokazu-eda's movie, it's so warm

After the Storm quotes

  • Shinoda Yoshiko: I wonder why it is that men can't love the present. Either they just keep chasing whatever it is they've lost... or they keep dreaming beyond their reach.

  • Shinoda Ryôta: The lottery isn't gambling.

Shiraishi Kyôko: Of course it is.

Shinoda Ryôta: No, it is not.

Shiraishi Kyôko: What is it, then?

Shinoda Ryôta: It's a dream. A dream you buy for 300 Yen.
