Based on Doug Stanton's non-fiction novel, "12 Warriors" tells the story of an elite unit of CIA paramilitary fighters and members of the U.S. Special Forces, the Green Flat Caps, sent to Afghanistan after 9/11 to fight terrorist groups "Taliban". These American soldiers eventually allied themselves with the Afghan rebels, the Northern Alliance, to fight their common enemy on horseback.
