—Suyuan'husband, “this one is from me, old photos of mommy in China. I don't need old photos for memory. I have lots. You have lots. Now they should have her. Am I right?”
some thoughts:
1⃣️About Yingying killing her own child.
Medea's revenge is mentioned in "Ancient Philosophy / The Taste of Classical Philosophy".
“The only way to hurt him as much as he has hurt her is to kill their sons, depriving him of any descendants and leaving his life empty. But can she do this? They are her children too.”
Medea said, “I know that what I am about to do is bad, but anger is master of my plans, which is the source of the greatest troubles for humankind.”
So Yingying and Medea both deliberately killed their sons (in class I thought Yingying was mentally ill and killed by mistake).
I agree with "Stoics: the soul is a unity (cannot be divided into parts, is absolutely rational)"
