To be honest, I was moved by the movie. The little people turned pancakes over and over in the cauldron of history. What moved me the most was the scenes of Chenxiong looking for Junzhi on the beach in Normandy, the feeling of being alone... I was in Beijing for a while and listened to everyone beside me, and it sounded like a hometown dialect. Iron buddies are always so far apart. Those who didn’t like them when they first met, have been friends for more than 20 years without realizing it. They have been ups and downs like two seaweeds in the tide of history, and it feels a little bit dependent on each other.
