A very moving movie, probably the first road movie I've ever seen.
The side shows the impact of the war on the Soviet society at that time.
The structure is complete and the rhythm is tight.
My mother was stumbling across the wheat field to see Alyosha, her emotions overflowing.
The character creation is very successful, the actors' performances are really believable, and the male and female protagonists are so cute! Combined with the opening remarks of the film, Alyosha died on the battlefield, and the emotion poured into the audience was irresistible.
This is the hymn of the soldier Alyosha, this is the sad song of the times.
