Xu Song's evaluation of fall

There is an old movie called "Fallen", the Chinese title is translated as "Deadly Induction". That's how many good movies miss out on potential audiences after getting a bad translation. In the movie, the police want to eradicate an evil spirit that lives by living in the human body, and deceive him to no one. In the end, the police even killed themselves, only to make the evil spirit completely lose its host. The evil spirit looked around in the wilderness, madly waiting to die. Before the film's closing credits appear, a kitten lingers past a dying evil spirit who has a living body again. This ending is simply too dark, the police died in vain, and the evil actually defeated the justice. This ending is too bright, no matter how good you are, you may survive in a desperate situation.

The ending is very reversed, and the evil spirit still wins. Watching this movie after watching "Ritual" yesterday, it really feels like subverting religion and truth. What this movie is trying to say is that the truth is hard to find? All we see are appearances. The director is evil. Denzel really didn't have a second movie. One question, why did the criminal not possess the body when he shook hands with Denzel at the beginning? Was it deliberately toying with him?

For the first time, I thought it was better to remake "The First Commandment", even if there is such a heavyweight as Denzel Hua, it can't be saved.
