Love this tick house

I came to write a review after I watched it halfway, because I really like this movie. The plot is a typical magical genre, not to mention the special effects. The starry sky in the garden is really novel and beautiful. I can’t wait to express my opinion. , I really don’t understand why the ratings are not high, and there are a group of people who think they know movies well. They say there is something naive, and some people don’t have enough taste and can’t appreciate the movie. Fortunately, I missed this good movie without listening to their nonsense. Don’t say anything, keep going.

70/100 Child protagonist, after World War II, bereaved of loved ones, full of childishness and dreams... It's like the kind of healing movie that Spiber would want to make (in fact, it is actually produced by his company). The horror elements in the film add some highlights to the slightly old-fashioned story, and the cordial and lively performances of Jack Black and Blanchett are also reasons to lock the audience's attention on the screen.

The House with a Clock in Its Walls quotes

  • Jonathan Barnavelt: Have a look around, it's perfectly safe...

    Lewis Barnavelt: THAT's safe?

Jonathan Barnavelt: As long as it's fed.

  • [the clock strikes]

Jonathan Barnavelt: Three gongs... last time it was four. What happens when it gets down to one?

Mrs. Zimmerman: Nothing good, that's for certain.
