First of all, this remake of "The Ghost Baby" is a super invincible and bad movie, just don't watch it.
But I like its concept very much. Compared with the previous Ghost Baby series, the new version of Ghost Baby is no longer possessed by evil spirits, but keeps pace with the times and becomes an AI robot with extremely high learning ability. In addition to being a toy for the hero, he is also an intelligent housekeeper who can manipulate all electrical appliances and even transportation under the same brand.
Therefore, in this movie, the scary way of the ghost baby has a high degree of operability. Turning off the lights, turning on the TV, controlling the temperature, and manipulating driverless cars and drones are not easy for a smart housekeeper. I think even if the director doesn't need so much blood, this sense of reality close at hand is enough to make people feel chilly.
Although this kind of thing is difficult to happen before complicated rights management strategies, as long as the system has security vulnerabilities, who can guarantee that one day, AI will kill humans? Suppose this is an AI model of unsupervised learning. If it hurts humans, who will bear the responsibility? Of course these questions are not answered by the film, nor can I answer them.
This is a movie that has the potential to become the apocalyptic robot version of "The Clown", but it was a pity.
