Rob is really a lover of literature and art, and the roles he chooses are all about inner drama. The first half of Little Ashes is OK, but when he leaves Lorgar and becomes a wild and weird person, it becomes unmanageable. The beard tipped to the sky has become a ridiculous prop rather than a symbol of arrogance. The violent body movements and extreme expression changes only make Robert's performance empty and poor. I think he has tried his best. After all, at the age of 20, the experience of starring in several small films is too thin, and his experience and feelings about life obviously cannot support him to penetrate the stirring heart of a strange artist.
