It's hard to write a short review in one breath

Through the Olive Trees doesn't need any other movie to be a great movie. Of course, for myself, after watching And life goes on the day after watching this movie, I have the urge to connect the two movies. but! After focusing on a few clips in this film, I increasingly feel that Abbas doesn't want us to connect the so-called "country trilogy" as a "trilogy", why because of the location, the appearance of the characters Are they similar in form and we people are going to narrow them down to the same category? I haven't seen the other third, but as far as these two movies are concerned, I think they are completely different! Not much to say about And Life Goes On here. Through the Olive Trees starts with a slap in the face, and the guy who plays the director comes up and tells you that the movie is going to fuck you up and you can't be ready for it. This is simply an unequal treaty with the audience. After the audience hears and sees this statement, they have become slaves, underground lovers, and spies of this movie. After that, the audience just let it go, temporarily forgetting this information, and entering the plot with the inertia of watching a movie. As the plot asks you to gradually become distracted, you are gradually seduced into the bait. The sympathy for the male protagonist makes you feel for the middle of the movie. Believe in the backstage documentary-like portrayal. So when there are several clips that are more and more bizarre in form, for example, another group of crew appears in the jungle to interrupt the conversation between the male protagonist and the female protagonist's grandmother, you can only pat your thighs and scream, it hurts but I really want it!

Why! Going back to the title, the title is like a guy shows up in front of you and says, "I'm a fuckboy, and im going to ruin your life." The implication is, I warn you, don't fall in love with me. The ignorant you were stunned for a while, unable to react at all, and you were just secretly amazed. Next, the boy seems to have forgotten what he said. He takes care of you in every possible way, talks a lot, takes you to all kinds of fun places, and introduces you to his friends. How can you remember his first warning to you? Thinking of you, you can't understand it, and you don't dare to ask, for fear that after asking, it will destroy the beauty of this dream.

Don't say it, Abbas, I admit we lost terribly.

  • Hossein: Mam, I'm really sorry. I want to do everything you ask me, but I won't do masonry. I don't work in construction anymore. I came to act in your film. I will work as an actor, but not as a mason.
