The source of fear in Arabian ghost films

Since it is Netflix's first Arabic drama, it must be a native Arabic drama with the perspective of others. The familiar story line and smooth editing show that the entire story structure has a very mature team. Since it is a supernatural movie, each episode has a key point. The protagonist of the first episode is a child ghost, tempting people to commit suicide. The second episode is the curse of the pharaoh. The third episode turned out to be a gorilla? ? ?

It feels a mixture of Japanese ghosts, Hollywood monster King Kong and Indiana Jones. But behind the familiar fear protagonist are more social reasons. War and fire lead to civilians being displaced before they live in haunted houses. Expeditions from Britain, France and other countries excavated cultural relics in Egypt, which led to the curse of the game-like "dissecting mummies". The third story I feel is a horror. I won’t go into the details of the three people walking in the desert that violates the laws of nature, and the guardian of the behemoth King Kong (where is the food for orangutans in the desert).

Although I haven't finished watching the following plot, I can feel that the fear is caused by social unrest. But maybe because the audience is not so concerned about the modern history of Egypt, it feels very powerless later. Watch another episode to see if it can be rescued.
