Drive low and go high?

Alia 2022-01-05 08:02:02

The director used the technique of driving low and walking high, and the opening was very flat, even making the audience think that it was just another actor. But just like singing, starting low is to sing high notes to appear higher. After quickly reviewing the plot of the previous movie, and looking at the loop pattern at the beginning, I thought it would continue to find the murderer, but replaced the white-haired boy with the protagonist, but it made the director think of it simple. The film is significantly faster than the first film, and the amount of information has doubled, giving the audience no time to predict in advance. Not only the murderer was found 20 minutes before the beginning, but the cause of the circulation was also found. Immediately afterwards, the secret was not only exposed to the companions who participated in the experiment, but also people who had contact with the experiment were also involved...This completely abandoned the first story frame and opened a new mode. Screenwriters and directors are really bold. If the new model does not tell the story well or the audience does not buy it, it will be self-defeating and smash the sign. Few people are willing to take such a risk. Admire the courage to create and innovate. ......... But what's behind? Can't write it down, disappointed.

The male actor is a cute female protagonist, and the friendship is still warm. Please give me a dozen of these "horror movies" that take the joyous route in the future! In the first episode, the story has been told through the situation, but it is not easy to die from the beginning again (again again) in a unique way~~~

People have to make choices, that's life. Sometimes, the past pulls us in one direction. But the future calls us to a new direction

Happy Death Day 2U quotes

  • [at the lab, Tree explains the situation to the group. After she writes the equations on the board, they prepare Sissy]

Tree Gelbman: How much longer is it gonna take?

Ryan Phan: Thanks to your crazy memory, it shouldn't take long at all. I can have Sissy ready to go in just a few minutes.

[Tree nods. Then she recalls she needs to warn Lori and say goodbye to her parents]

Tree Gelbman: [to Ryan] I need a little more time. There's something I need to do.

    [Tree heads for the door]

    Ryan Phan: Tree!

[Tree stops in her tracks and turns back]

Ryan Phan: You sure you want to go back?

Tree Gelbman: Can't spend my life living in the past. Got to take a leap of faith.

[Tree leaves. Ryan ponders for a moment over what Tree said, then he returns to work on the compter]

  • [Tree goes to her sorority house. As she arrives, Lori comes out, on her way to the hospital]

Lori Spengler: She finally rolls in...

    Tree Gelbman: Uh, Lori, hi.

Lori Spengler: [chuckles, noticing Tree's dishevelled appearance] Big night?

Tree Gelbman: [grunts] You could say that. Um, look, Lori, I...

    [pause]

Tree Gelbman: It's good to see you.

Lori Spengler: [chuckles, puzzled] Wha...? It's good to see you, too, Tree.

[while Tree fumbles for words, something catches Lori's attention, and her smile fades. Tree follows her gaze and sees Gregory leaning on his car, looks annoyed. Lori sighs sadly and lowers her eyes]

Tree Gelbman: He's not worth it. I mean, trust me. I've been involved with a married guy. I know what it's like living a double life. Always feeling like shit about yourself. But it's never too late to change. Someone once told me that "every day is a chance to be someone better." Maybe this is your day.

    [Lori listens to Tree intently]

Lori Spengler: [smiles] Okay. Thank you.

[Tree hugs Lori. She feels bad for killing her in the original dimension, even though it was of self-defence. She has grown to like Lori in the past weeks she spent in this dimension, and hopes she can save her]

Tree Gelbman: Take care of yourself.

[Tree leaves. Lori sighs, then goes to the hospital. Tree enters the sorority house and heads for Danielle's room. She knocks on the door, but no one answers. She enters the room and sees Danielle dressed in a nightgown and a robe]

    Danielle Bouseman: [surprised] Tree...

Tree Gelbman: Hey. Um... look, Danielle, I feel really bad. I've totally been misjudging you, and it's completely on me. I am so sorry that I've, like, made this...

[suddenly, Nick comes out of the bathroom, wears only a towel]

    Nick Sims: [smiles] Nice... three-way.

[Tree realizes that Danielle cheats on Carter. She muses that maybe Danielle is not much better than the selfish bitch she is in the original dimension]

    Danielle Bouseman: [embarrassed] He's kidding.

    Nick Sims: No, I'm-I'm not.

Danielle Bouseman: Nick's, um, shower was broken, so I said he could use mine. Right, Nick?

[naturally, Tree does not believe this lame excuse. Nick is so stupid that he does not understand what Danielle meant]

Nick Sims: [puzzled] My shower's fine.

[Danielle gives Nick a murderous look]

Tree Gelbman: Right. Um, you know what? Never mind. Sorry for interrupting. Bye-ee.

    Nick Sims: Bye-ee.

[Tree leaves, closing the door behind. Angrily, Danielle slaps on Nick's bare chest]

Nick Sims: Ow! What was that for?

Danielle Bouseman: For being dumb as a rock. That's what.

Nick Sims: Oh, really? How can a rock be dumb? They don't even have brains.

[Danielle gapes at Nick's stupidity, and slaps him again]

    Nick Sims: [annoyed] Ouch!
