There's no denying that the special effects are fake, especially when compared to the sophistication of American blockbusters.
But in a good movie, special effects are definitely not everything. The compactness of the plot, the rendering of emotions, and the performance of the actors are much more important than the special effects.
Compared with the domestic blockbusters that are often called "big productions" and "big scenes", the character portrayal of the characters, the fast pace of the plot, and the embellished emotional scenes are all exquisite in small places. In the style of the whole film, it can even be considered that some false special effects have brought a little magical color.
It is not a perfect movie, but the integration of scenes, special effects and plots, especially the pursuit of details, is the direction that our domestic movies must learn. I sincerely hope that those "blockbusters" with bloody plots will no longer be made to lure the hard-earned money of my compatriots.
