Dai Sijie has seen 2 movies, and the other is "Night Peacock". If you compare the posters of the two films, you will see the inheritance between them. The director seems to have been narrating a theme: the beauty of a woman is priceless. Of course, "Balzac and the Little Tailor" is more literary and the story is more complete. At the end of the movie, when the little tailor who was subtly influenced by the outside world and had his own thoughts decided to leave the mountain, although his heart was sore and uncomfortable, he also agreed that this is the best ending.
