This hand-painted film shows the story of Ethel and Ernest's love and hand in hand for a lifetime. However, according to the family (marriage) I know around, I think this kind of existence is almost rare. Of course, there are cultural differences between China and the West during this period. Life. But the reality is often quarrels, conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, derailment, widowed parenting, mother's treasure, female childbirth (confinement), postpartum depression and suicide, and even appalling wife killing... In short, it is difficult to manage a good marriage relationship at present. I haven't mentioned the education issues after children, adolescence rebellion, future mate selection (RV), etc.
I haven't experienced this yet, but it really shattered my childhood cognitive fantasy of so-called love. Therefore, I regard this hand-painted as a fairy tale, and it is rare for two people to spend the rest of their lives or a peaceful life.
