Hidden multiple horrors

I basically haven't watched any thrillers, and I dare not dare to get involved in the scary ones. I bought this film because it involves secretly filmed content, and secretly filming is closely related to the truthfulness of news and privacy protection. However, this film is very different from the previous sneak shots. The lens is stable, the image quality is clear, and no sneak shots appear, but the same is the non-intervention of the facts, the extreme reality caused by the extreme form of hiding the camera.

Hidden the camera did not interfere when shooting. However, sending the tape to the protagonist after shooting was a matter of great intervention, interfering with his family, work, entire life, and entire heart, creating terror. In the face of this irresistible and uncapable external force, the protagonist can only lag behind, at the mercy of the photographer. Liang Zuo wrote a short story to the effect that not long after the husband returned from a business trip, his wife received an anonymous letter from someone on the business trip, one after another. The content was all love letters from the husband to other women, each with a different content. The identity and true purpose of the sender are unclear. The only thing that is clear is that under this pressure, the husband must confess the problem to his wife, and the sender’s understanding of the facts determines the scale of the husband’s confession. Under this unpredictable pressure , The husband's spirit is on the verge of collapse. Similar stories are not too few, and the explanation is the same: human beings face the unknown, many unknowns, and will eventually be driven mad. In other words, human beings can only accept information that he can understand, and can only explain similar information by transforming it into an existing framework, and cannot face things that are completely unfamiliar and beyond the scope of understanding.

In this film, at the beginning, the protagonist still tries to find the cause of the incident and the photographer, and when he can put these into his own frame-that is, I hurt him and he wants revenge. If the reason is understood, he immediately gave up. Interpretation of events and unknowns. So when the partner he hurt when he was young committed suicide in front of him, he could only attribute the other party's behavior to "perversion", and then attribute his son's arrival to "perversion". In other words, after a normal person suffers such torture, he cannot think deeply. The protagonist can only turn his mind when he is irrational. But the audience is different. They are in the status of a bystander. Before the final shot appears, the audience cannot lock the identity of the photographer. Even the final shot appears, the audience cannot be completely sure. This is the evocative of the open ending. place. The audience is forced by the director to reason, to think, to turn two and three turns, and the information given by the director is actually not enough to get the real result. This constitutes the ultimate contradiction-the mystery and the inability to reveal the mystery. Contradiction. When directors and screenwriters are creating, it is obvious that they have made at least four turns in their minds in order to cope with audiences who generally make two turns. Not surprisingly, the film should have been written by a single person. Without supernatural powers participating in the creation of the mystery, it is not easy to be able to compile to the level where there are more than two possible outcomes at the end. Don't forget that in the contemporary era, the jailbreak that is full of suspense and attracts worldwide attention is also a multi-person screenwriter.

Before the first scene of the two teenagers appeared, I basically thought that the protagonist must have hurt the teenager. Later, I thought that the two must have conspired to kill the third party, but when the protagonist came to the door, I saw how honest the other person was. Instead, I thought it was the bystander who took the tape, but how could the bystander know the secret between the two? How was the secret revealed? Among the hints given by the director, that is, the protagonist’s son’s abnormal behavior, I just think “how is this clue so inexplicable?” I can’t think of any connection between the child and the incident after scratching his head. The position of the victim is placed on the perpetrator. If the child is really a participant in the incident, the director has created the most extreme horror, through the simplest reverse thinking-turning the victim into the perpetrator, creating the most extreme horror. Here, the most terrifying thing is not unknown, it is not who took the tape, what is the content of the next tape, the most terrifying thing is that it is beyond the scope of understanding. It is beyond the scope of normal people to make fun of and hurt oneself by one's own children. Darkness is terrible, because you don't know what's in the darkness, you don't know whether monsters or ghosts will appear. You find that there are basically options here. Through experience, people can create options. And beyond the scope of understanding, it means that it is not in the options, and it will not be used to create options at all. This is the most terrifying thing. However, the protagonist did not realize this level of horror. It was the audience. After being brought to this level of thinking by the director, he felt terrified for the protagonist. This is the most terrifying horror of the film.

The first level of terror is that one’s daily life is monitored. The second level is that this person knows his ultimate secret and he may spread it to others. The third level is that this person is unidentified. The most terrifying is the third level. One possibility-that this person is his own son. If this was not done by a child, nor by a black father and son, then who would it be? If the quarrel between the protagonist and the black man is understood as intentional foreshadowing, would he do it? Obviously, he didn't do it at the beginning, that is, he participated later, was it a gang conspiracy? The other one who obviously participated later is the protagonist's playmate-the black uncle. The uncle, who did not know the whole incident before, arranged it with confidence and declared: "I hope you are present." This statement is actually very rich in interpretation. It can be simply understood as: You have to force me now. Crazy, plus the harm you did to me before, I die in this way, you will be condemned. Sadly, the protagonist has not received any condemnation at all in his mind, he just feels very annoyed, he thinks that he can let these things pass by sleeping. This is undoubtedly a nightmare for black father and son.

In the film, the static fixed lens is the most used, because the tape taken by the hidden camera can only be shot at a fixed angle. So whenever a still fixed camera appears, the audience must first ask: Is this true? Or is it true in the belt? How many shots have the things in front of you gone through? The sound and picture at the beginning of the film are out of alignment and rewinding, and also: "This is the tape", the performance is very clear, but the last shot of the film lasted for so long, the audience has been confused, whether this is real or a tape The truth in it? Am I watching their behavior through the lens? Is there a third party watching like an audience? In this sense, the end of the film cannot but be said to be a genius. It not only expresses the behavior of the characters in the lens and creates a possibility, but also insinuates the meaning of the form through the form of a static fixed lens. Gave another hint of possibility.

For me, there is another layer of horror. It is difficult to define the protagonist’s behavior when he was young. This is a situation in which to protect oneself, one must hurt others. Of course, this was because he had misjudged the situation, but he protected himself and hurt others, and all this happened without his own awareness. If the incident is a revenge incident, protecting yourself is tantamount to planting the seeds of hatred. This is worse than the situation in the old boy. God knows, our normal daily life, every choice we make, every willfulness, who hurts us, and how does that person think of us? What kind of troubles will you face in the future? Hiding the camera left such a question.

The first 10 minutes seemed dull and tiring, and after going back and forth, it became more and more arresting; underneath the director's stern narration, there was always a dark core tight, and the slow release of the tight force could be described as a punch to the flesh.

Going up along the unowned videotape, looking for the dark roots from childhood, only directed attention and guilt deep in the subconscious, so-called elite class trust shattered, reason collapsed, and violence against the weak. Who is behind the camera is probably an off-screen viewer. It is really a genius to let the audience watch the video tape in the movie directly. Haneke is total, cold and desperate to the perversion without any compromise.

Georges's Mom: Why? Are you less lonely because you can sit in the garden? Do you feel less lonely in the metro than at home? Well then! Anyway, I have my family friend... with remote control. Whenever they annoy me, I just shut them up.
