treasure protector, dream hunter

There are already many movies about treasure hunting, and it is not easy to break through. Cage is indeed getting less and less handsome, and time is still irresistible. The film uses a guessing method to find treasures in an attempt to find new selling points, but it always feels a bit blunt. If I had to find something to say, it would be this: a young Ben Gates

dreamed

of finding the legendary treasure one day after listening to his grandfather tell the story of the Templars. Even in middle age, he does not give up his childhood dream, and finally fulfills the long-cherished wish of the six generations of the Gates family. A dream come true is the result of perseverance. Inspirational and educational.

Emotional

films contain family, friendship, and love, and each of these relationships finally comes to fruition. Typical happy ending.

It's a purely commercial movie, used to relieve boredom, and with Cage's appeal, you can also watch it. And Diane Kruger is so pretty in this show, even prettier than in Troy. Or fashion drama suits her.

It's worth watching for Diane Kruger's sake.

    Ben Gates: [pause] What?

Patrick Gates: I don't have them.

Ben Gates: [Another pause] Where are they?

Patrick Gates: I donated them to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.

    Ben Gates: Time to go.

  • Riley Poole: [after Ben decides to steal the Declaration] This is... huge.

    [pause]

Riley Poole: Prison... huge. You are gonna go to prison. You know that, right?

    Benjamin Franklin Gates: Yeah, probably.

Riley Poole: Well... that would... bother most people.
