A large number of American youth joined the ranks of the United States Navy under the inspiration of Top Gun. If I were a man, I would be so excited to be a fighter pilot after watching this movie. The U.S. officials used this movie to deceive many handsome guys to enlist in the army. Cruise is all good, just a little short. Never forget the word lieutenant again.

    Full of youth and vigor, this is probably the film that represents the peak period of Tom's appearance! The plot is really nothing to watch!

    Many of Watanabe Shinichiro's Macross Plus are directly derived from this. One of the theme melody (it seems to be the theme of love!?) always reminds people of Twin Peaks weirdly, and the overall soundtrack is reminiscent of Streets of Fire, full of 80s. Tom Cruise licking his tongue.
