Sean's scene-stealing sheep family is disappointingly short of screen time, given the deliberate innocence and kindness of the scene. Lola doesn't have the subversive qualities of the reckless stuffed dudes, and instead looks suspiciously like Christmas dolls. The movie opens with the sheep doing all sorts of antics, like blasting themselves with cannonballs, and continuing all sorts of crazy behaviors that are totally unhelpful for preschoolers. Unlike Aardman's "The Curse of the Rabbit", "A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon" has no real danger, and all the thrills and thrills are "soft landings." Sean exists only to please the children, and he fulfills his mission
