Chris Kyle is a native of Odessa, Texas, USA. He was a sniper of the US Navy SEALs. He went to Iraq four times to participate in wars. During this period, he shot and killed 160 enemies. He has the title of "The Deadliest Marksman" in the United States. In 2008, Kyle shot the enemy with a single bullet with a sniper rifle from a distance of 2,100 yards (1920 meters); this is Kyle's most famous record. When he became a "legend" of the US military, he was also deeply condemned by morals and conscience; especially when faced with a local kid carrying a rocket launcher, he raised his gun to aim but hesitated. After returning to the United States, he could not forget the fear and pain caused by the war, and he could not fully integrate into the family to fulfill the responsibilities of a husband and father. He was struggling and was on the verge of collapse. But such a legendary figure was shot to death in a shooting range on February 2, 2013.

The scene of the sandstorm was wonderful. Cooper's nomination is not watery.

The biographical filming method is extremely traditional American old-school politically, and the protagonist uses the order to interpret the cowboy spirit of the Texans and the aura of American heroism. It's a pity that it's a little bit watery, and the depth is too average. The old cowboy Eastwood produced a mediocre work this time.

American Sniper quotes

  • Navy Doctor: Would you be surprised if I told you that Navy has credited you with... over 160 kills?

    Chris Kyle: [Hums]

Navy Doctor: Do you ever think that... you might have seen things or... done some things over there that you wish you hadn't?

Chris Kyle: Oh, that's not me. No.

    Navy Doctor: What's not you?

Chris Kyle: I was just protecting my guys, they were trying to kill... our soldiers and I... I'm willing to meet my Creator and answer for every shot that I took.

Chris Kyle: The thing that... haunts me are all the guys that I couldn't save.

Chris Kyle: Now I'm willing and able to... be there but I'm not, I'm here I quit.

Navy Doctor: You can walk down any hall in this hospital. Looks like plenty soldiers need saving.

    Chris Kyle: [Hums]

Navy Doctor: You want to take a walk?

    Chris Kyle: Sure.

  • Taya Renae Kyle: You're my husband, you're the father of my children. Even when you're here, you're not here. I see you, I feel you, but you're not here.
