Albert Arnold Gore Jr is not only the Vice President of the United States, but also a well-known environmentalist. He won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize together with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for research on climate change and global warming. Director Philip Davis Guggenheim intertwined the various natural phenomena of global warming with Mr. Gore's personal history and his long-term commitment to warning and improving global warming. As a veteran environmentalist, Gore showed people a lot of undisputed facts and information about the huge harm global warming has brought to mankind. Gore used scientific data and his own personal experience to confirm the existence of global warming, to refute those who believe that global warming is not obvious or yet to be confirmed, and at the same time use his countless actions to persuade the audience to stop global warming.  .

After all, he is the former vice president of the United States, and his speech level is absolutely excellent. After all, he has given speeches at least 1,000 times before shooting this documentary. He has indeed made a well-thought-out and perfect PPT. Looking at it today, more than ten years later, it is basically not outdated. The description of China in the film is also relatively objective, and the understanding of the US's own problems is relatively sufficient. Generally speaking, it can indeed arouse many people's attention to the climate issue. To be able to win the Oscar for best documentary and even Gore himself to win the Nobel Prize is well deserved. The ending song is also very nice. I hope everyone in every country can take responsibility for their part. The so-called: lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets!

China should have a lot of inconvenient truth

An Inconvenient Truth quotes

  • Al Gore: What we take for granted might not be here for our children.

  • Al Gore: It takes time to connect the dots, I know that. But I also know that there can be a day of reckoning when you wish you had connected the dots more quickly.
