The two love each other sincerely, but one of them is walking on the verge of death. This is a very old-fashioned love model, and we can find its shadow in many movies and TV series. This long-term "motif" should have its touchingness. But a good theme should also be supported by a good actor and a good storyline. Richard Gere’s "white-haired rosy love" to Winona Laura Horowitz is not so sincere, and there are always multiple women around him-this is to emphasize his previous painstaking treatment while also diminishing his personality charm: when A man who fell in love with you and his former lover Yan Haoshi, how much can you trust him? The inadequate performance of the actors and the ambiguous plots in the film weaken the touching and shocking nature of this kind of subject matter, and a glass of love wine that should have been mellow in this way can only be tasteless.
