Battleship Wonderful naval battle

Both American soldiers fight aliens, and the film can be said to be the naval version of "Battle of Los Angeles." Naval battle is the biggest selling point of this film, and other plots are designed around this selling point. The most spectacular special effects scene is that the aliens build a giant "glass cover" on the wide sea surface, blocking the three U.S. warships and isolating them from the world. The rescue plane crashed into the cover and killed many people. The audience exclaimed. Since the viewing platform is an IMAX giant screen, the background color of the film is a transparent and bright crystal blue, and all the naval battle scenes are carried out in an open space rather than a tight and tense space, so the picture looks very relaxed, beautiful and refreshing. It doesn't feel depressing at all. (by)

Alex Hopper: Get the guns online or we're gonna ram this thing!

Boatswain Mate Seaman Jimmy 'Ordy' Ord: Sir, the Myoko is sinking! Sir, please!

Alex Hopper: Set the course to 3-1-0!

Boatswain Mate Seaman Jimmy 'Ordy' Ord: Please, sir!

    Alex Hopper: 3-1-0!

Chief Petty Officer Walter 'The Beast' Lynch: [grabs Hopper, shouting] There are sailors in the water, sir!

    [tense silence]

    Alex Hopper: ...Hard a starboard.

Boatswain Mate Seaman Jimmy 'Ordy' Ord: Hard a starboard, aye, sir!

[the John Paul Jones turns away from the alien ship]

Alex Hopper: Get them out of the water.

Chief Petty Officer Walter 'The Beast' Lynch: Yes, sir.

  • [watching the aliens at the satellite array]

Lieutenant Colonel Mick Canales: The most critical part of any military operation: establish communications, reinforcements, follow-on forces.

Cal Zapata: You're saying E.T. wants to phone home? That would be incredibly, incredibly bad.
