The story revolves around high school student Mo (Griffin Gluck). His best friend is Zeke (Davis), who is also Mo's sister's ex-boyfriend. Zeke is 23 years old and has a quick temper. He lives with his girlfriend Holly (Sydney Sweeney) in the house inherited from the deceased grandma, and sings every night; there are many drug addicts around him, and their lives seem to be worth mentioning.
Mo's parents (played by Jon Claire and Julia Murney) turned a glance at the friendship between their son and Zeke, but they were still worried that the latter would have a bad effect on their son. These worries finally became reality-Mo began to listen more to Zeke's bad suggestions, and this began to affect Mo's studies and future, as well as the relationship with Sophie (Orna Lawrence), she is Mo's favorite classmate.
